Kottayam : Kerala Congress and ensembles kick start a vibrant by-election campaign toward victory for Jaick C Thomas in Puthupally. At the Mandala meeting at Puthupally, all MLAs were assigned handed varied duties in connection with the campaign.
Government Chief Whip Dr. N Jayaraj is in charge of Vakathanam, Akalakunnam and Aarkunnam panchayats. Adv. Job Michael MLA is put in charge of Pampadi, Kooropada and Meenadam panchayats. Other leaders in charge of areas include Baby Uzhuthuwal, Jose Parekettu, KJ Philip, KP Joseph, Rajesh, Valliplakal, Baiju Puthiyadathu Chalil, Sajan Thoduka, Sunny Mathew and others.
Youth Fron, Mahila Congress and KSC will conduct their own squad activities. Party Chairman Jose K Mani will inaugurate the Election Committee office on Monday. The Mandala meeting was inaugurated by Kerala Congress District President Prof. Lopez Mathew. Mandalam President Benny Vadakeyeth presided at the function.
