Kozhikode : Police registered case against minor bride’s parents and the groom over child marriage conducted in Kozhikode. Also booked is the priest who performed the rituals. The marriage took place in Kozhikdoe’s Kuttikattu on 18th of this month.
The 17-year-old girl will undergo medical tests after which POCSO charges might be invoked if found necessary, the police said. The police learned of the incident following a tip-off on phone.
