Thiruvananthapuram : A Circle Inspector (CI) has been booked over complaint of alleged molestation of a POCSO accused. In the case, the 27-year-old youth, charged with abuse of a minor girl, lodged complaint that CI Jaisni of Airoor police station, subjected him to unnatural sex.
The youth, who was arrested under POCSO, two months back said, the CI had arrived at his house to make the arrest and sexually molested him at the time. The CI later offered money to compromise the case, the youth said in his complaint.
Regarding his own arrest, the youth said, the CI had demanded Rs 50,000 to compromise on the POCSO case and when he did not agree, a case was registered against him and arrest followed.
