No workers’ unions of CITU, BMAS, or INTUC were present for protest in the area. The protesters were largely locals in the area. They had loosely organised a group under the aegis of sabha there. Even the Thumbha police have confirmed that there were no protesters at the site other than people from the neighbourhood.”
