Congress-BJP Unity in State : Not A Word Against Centre From UDF

Thrissur: Congress and UDF leaders who criticise the Kerala Govt,  do not utter a word against the central government, said Chief  Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Congress and Muslim League stand by the view that there should be no utterances that could  discomfort BJP.  That’s the kind state-level unison they have, said CM, speaking at LDF campaign meeting in Thrissur.

The Modi govt h
as made no recruitments in over 8 lakh posts that lie vacant. Congress is not however ready to point a finger at that.  Kerala made record 1,60,500 appointments via PSC. The Govt instructed that all vacancies be reported to PSC and a Committee headed  by Chief Secretary was formed for this purpose. Yet,  Congress and BJP tried hard to mislead people saying  jobs were not given in the govt sector.

The centre has put country’s public sector on sale. None of these parties have a criticism on that however. The centre decided to privatise Thiruvananthapuram airport. The LDF govt resisted the move. However, it was eventually sold to Adani and a Congress MP openly welcomed the deal. That’s Congress.

5 years of LDF government made Kerala the country’s least corrupt state. The finding came about in surveys made by  national agencies. That status  elated Kerala’s repute both  inside and outside the country. Public sector  units are gaining strength inside Kerala. Loss-making units changed into profitable businesses. Public sector unit was ruined by UDF under its rule. The LDF govt gave houses to 2 lakh families in the past five years. 5 lakh more homes will be delivered in next  5 years -  a promise stated in the election manifesto. By contrast, UDF threatens to dissolve LIFE mission should it come to power. Can an organisation of humans speak in this manner?  People should be able to put all these things together  and pave way for continued LDF rule in state, said Chief Minister.
