Case Against VD Satheeshan; 3 Other Congress MLAs Too Kick Up Storm With Derogatory, Vulgar FB Messages

Thiruvananthapuram : War of words on Facebook has landed Congress veteran VD Satheeshan in soup with police and National Human Rights filing case against an indecent outburst on his page. Three other Congress MLAs  -  Eldho Kunnapilly, KS Sabarinath and VT Balaram too are in the eye of storm over  social media posts of derogatory nature and some that verged on obscenity.

VD Satheeshan in his FB post ranted against the government decision to introduce CESS on alcoholic beverages. A commenter, Abdul Salam, responded with a remark upon which, the irked Congress veteran burst into a of vulgar abuse against Salam’s wife and mother.

VT Balaram contributed his share of obscenity while responding to a message posted by well known literary personality, T Meera. Balaram in his comment targetted the  name “Meera” and hinted it as candidate for an extremely vulgar slang, if the pronunciation be slightly distorted, he tipped.

Thodupuzha MLA  Eldhos’s tasteless FB post insulted the Chief Minister and family - the nature of which drew wide flak from social media users too. In the post, Eldhos resorts to unsavoury remarks  accusing CM for having engaged Sprinklr to handle Covid data – a decision, he claimed, had something to do with CM’s daughter and details of which, he claimed he will divulge in days ahead.

Popular poet Banyam, who had reacted to Opposition actions that hampered state mitigation efforts against covid, too fell prey to Congressmen's cyber onslaught.  That attack was launched by KS  Sabarinathan MLA. “Baniyam will be known as ‘unstable poet’ if he failed to criticize the government; the title of ‘unstable poet’ as a result of using pen for selective praise is not much goodwill,” wrote  Sabarinath in his FB post.

Congress leaders enthused with morphing too
Morphing too found its way in Congress arsenal with Seniors in Congress resorting to the technique to serve dubious propaganda goals. This time, the CM’s family was the select target in their family wedding.

In the photo above, where the newly weds are flanked by EP Jayarajan and family, the picture of the minister’s wife has been replaced by Swapna Suresh -  one of the main accused in the sensational gold smuggling case - to precipitate bogus claims on nonexistent links. The fake picture was carried by   Kollam DCC President Bindu Krishna, Youth Congress General Secretary and TG Sunil on their official pages.
