New Delhi : In another blow affecting households across the country, prices for LPG cylinder has been hiked by Rs 25 per cylinder. With this the domestic cooking gas price stands at Rs 866.50.
Meanwhile, the price for commercial cylinder was reduced by Rs 4, the cost of which now quotes at Rs 1619 per cylinder.
The hard hit from centre comes when the major festival of Onam is at threshold. The scheme of crediting subsidy directly into beneficiary accounts was disrupted in June on 2020 and has seemingly been scrapped in practice.
