The new infections today include 45 cases pertaining to travelers from states outside and 40 health workers. The testing positivity rate today figured at 8.81 %. Also 1 returnee from UK was diagnosed with covid in the past 24 hours taking the UK-oriented caseload so far to 24.
Deaths : There were 20 covid deaths confirmed during the day raising the toll so far to 3322.
