There were 4230 contact infections reported during the day, of which the virus source to 508 cases remains untraced. On other data for the day, there were 35 covid deaths and 4647 recoveries. With this, state death-toll in the pandemic rose to 6 and recoveries to 5,86,998. A total of 59,923 persons remain under treatment currently.

Quarantine: A total of 3,09,935 people are under observation currently of whom, 14,164 remain quarantined various hospitals and the remaining 2,95,771 are being monitored in their homes/institutions. 1499 people were newly admitted into hospitals during today for observation purposes. Presently 59,923 people remain under treatment in various hospitals across the state.
