The new infections today include 88 cases pertaining to travelers from states outside and 67 health workers. The testing positivity rate today figured at 8.63 %. Also 3 returnees from UK were diagnosed with covid in the past 24 hours taking the UK-oriented caseload so far to 50.
Deaths: There were 23 covid deaths confirmed during the day raising the toll so far to 3257.
