The new infections today include 58 cases pertaining to travelers from states outside and 62 health workers. The testing positivity rate today figured at 8.94 %.
UK Returnees: No traveler from UK was diagnosed with covid in past 24 hours. Total caseload pertaining to incomers from that country now figures at 56
Deaths: There were 23 covid deaths confirmed during the day raising the toll so far to 3415.

Quarantine: A total of 2,02,080 people are under observation currently of whom, 11,081 remain quarantined various hospitals and the remaining 1,90,999 are being monitored in their homes/institutions. 1308 people were newly admitted into hospitals during today for observation purposes. Presently 67,496 people remain under treatment in various hospitals across the state.
Hotspots: There were 2 new hotspots declared today, while 3 areas were taken off the list. Total hotspots currently in the state : 419.
