Thiruvalla Couple Charred To Death In Their Parked, Burning Car

Thiruvalla : Two persons were burnt alive in a parked car after their vehicle went ablaze in Thiruvalla’s Vengal. The charred bodies were identified as that of Raju and his wife Lali, natives of Thuklaserri in Thiruvella.

The fire occurred at 1 pm Friday noon at Vellore’s Mundakat. The policeman who responded to the scene first thought it was garbage heap burning. On closer observation, he realised it was a car on fire. Fire Force arrived quickly but the couple inside were charred beyond recognition. The car’s registration number gave clues to the identity of the people inside.

The police suspect it to be a case of suicide. Investigations are underway
