Thiruvananthapuram : High-level meeting is scheduled during the day to discuss functioning of schools under acute Covid conditions in the state. Topics to come up for debate are classes for std 1 – 9, offline classes for Plus Two students, conducting exams, progress in student vaccinations etc.
The meeting will be attended by delegates from DD, RDD, and AD level. A the Covid assessment meeting held last, it was decided to not postpone exams date as Covid curve is expected to flatten down February.
Presently, classes for std 1 – 9 are being held online from 21 Jan. At the meeting today, the govt will examine if that is to continue. Educational institutions have been instructed to close should there be cluster formation.
