Pathanamthitta : CPI(M) is not Party that works against religion or faith, said CPI(M) State Secretary MV Govindan. CPI(M) is of the perspective that everybody should be able to perform their religious activities in peace, said KV Govindan, responding to media questions on Church dispute.
Nobody is against protest. Question is, what for and in what manner it is held. Central approval is essential for airport. The government s not in receipt of funds from any temple, MV Govindan told reporters, adding that no government has rendered funds to KSRTC to the extent that this government has.
CPI(M)leaders do not want to capture any temple. Local believers will look after affairs of any given temple. Narendra Modi however has a totally different perspective. You must take a lok at that. . The Prime Minister of India functions as trustee of a prominent religion in the country. The High Court had rebuked that must not be. Is there nothing at all you wish to ask on that ?, asked MV Govindan, speaking at a press conference in Pathanamthitta on the sidelines of Janakeeya Prathirodha Jatha(People’s Resistance Rally) on Tuesday.
