CPI M Worker Beheaded by RSS Goons in Mahe

Mahe > A CPI M leader was hacked to death by RSS criminals on monday near Palloor in Mahe(part of Puthuchery), which borders Kannur district. The deceased, K P Dinesh Babu (Kannippoyil Babu), was a local committee member of the CPI M.

The incident occurred at around 9 pm. The deceased was returning home in a motorcycle when he was attacked by a group of RSS criminals. He was attacked with sharp arms inflicting severe wounds on his body including his neck. He died at the spot.

He had survived several murder attempts by the RSS in the past. CPI M has condemned the incident which is pre-planned by the RSS leadership in order to disrupt peace prevailing in the district.

The CPI M has called for a strike in protest of the heinous crime on Tuesday in Kannur district and Mahe. CPI M Kannur District Secretariat in its statement insisted to keep the protests peaceful. CPI M urged their supporters not to get provoked by purposeful attempts of creating conflicts.  

(Mahe, which borders Kannur and Kozhikode districts in Kerala, is an enclave of Union Territory of Puducherry.)
