Thalasseri ; Police arrested a Kannur youth for kicking a migrant boy for leaning against his car. Arrested for the criminal demeanor is 20-year-old Muhamad Shiyad, a resident of Ponya Palam Mansar House in Thalasseri.
CCTV images of the incident shows Shiyad kicking the child with his shoes on. The images also show people in the neighbourhood questioning the violent behaviour.
The victim, Ganesh, is son of a Rajasthani couple Mittulal and Madhura. The child was thrown off in the impact and sustained hip injuries. He is currently being treated at General Hospital in town.
The brutal assault took place at Mannavatti Junction Thursday night around 8 pm.
The culprit is charged with attempted murder.
