Kochi : The second accused in murder of SFI worker Dheeraj, hails from Opposition Leader VD Satheesan’s native place of Paravur. The accused in question, Alex Rafel, was arrested by police from his house in Paravur’s Puthanvelikara during the day.
Alex is KSU Unit Secretary at college. Including Alex, the police have so far arrested three for firsthand participation in the crime.
Dheeraj Rajendran, a seventh semester student of Painav Engineering College in Idukki, was murdered yesterday with stabs to his chest.
Arrested in the case so far are : Youth Congress Vazhathopp Mandalam President Nikhil Payli, Alex Raphel, Jerin Jijo.
