Thiruvananthapuram : Vietnamese Ambassador to India, Nguyen Thanh, said direct flight services will be started from Kerala to Vietnam. The statement came during meeting he held with Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan at Cliff House on Tuesday. The Ambassador opined that launching direct flights would benefit various sectors in countries on both sides.
The Chief Minister sounded hopeful that starting direct flight service from Kochi to Ho Chi Minh City would help strengthen ties with Vietnam. Kerala has meanwhile established links with some of Vietnam’s southern provinces, said CM
CM expressed happiness over leaders’ visit from the Ben Tre province to Kerala and said it would bolster various sectors like tourism, finance, trade etc. Kerala is keen to develop close ties with Vietnam, said CM.
