KOCHI : Officials from Enforcement Directorate (ED) quizzed former Excise Minister K Babu in connection with disproportionate assets case filed against him. Babu was summoned to office in Kochi for the session.
State Vigilance had earlier found 49 percent assets acquired by Babu between 2001 and 2016, to be allegedly illegal. Following this the Vigilance petitioned a court in Muvattupuzha seeking trial against the Congress man.
