Palakkad : As urban local body election results in Tamil Nadu emerge, the (DMK-led front is leading victories. Of the 450 seats declared up to now, DMK bagged 354 victories. CPI(M) has so far won 22 seats for the front - 3 seats in Coimbatore Corporation; 2 each in Dindi, Thirichirapally and Madhurai;
Elections span 21 corporations, 138 municipalities 489 town panchayats and 648 urban local bodies.
