Most Duplications From UDF; 3 to 4 Votes For Ebrahim Kunju’s Relatives

Thiruvananthapuram : Opposition leader’s outcry over vote ID duplications and misinterpretation of  it as government failure,   boomerangs back on Congress. It has been now found that, majority of the multiple ID cases pertain to Congress, League and BJP leaders or workers.

The first instance  of duplication cited by Opposition leader, namely Kumari from Uduma,  turned out to be a Congress worker. The list is galore.  UDF candidate in Kaipamangalam has 3 votes. The list also comprises relatives of former KPCC secretaries and ex-ministers. In   Malappuram and Kasaragod, majority duplications pertain to League workers.

KPCC secretary PC Harindranath’s family has votes at Neyyatinkara and Vattiyoorkav apart from Thiruvananthapuram.  Former Corporation Councilor Hari Kumar, G Girijakumari who contested from Attingal Municipality earlier, Malayankeezh Congress Panchayat member Sindhu  also feature in the duplication list. KPCC General Secretary and son-in-law of  E Muhammad Kunju in Malappuramhave multiple votes in Vandoor Panchayat. Muslim League worker in Kuttayi, Muhammad Fazil, has 3 votes at one booth.

“Hariswood” Haridas, Mangala Prakasan from Puthukudi House and Arya Ramakrishnan from Puthuveeti in Kannur and Suresh Babu from Pandaram Veedu from 171 booth in Koothuparambu are a few names among Congress workers with multiple voter IDs. Muslim League leader VK Ebrahim Kunju’s nephew, son and wife have 3 to 4 votes each. Ebrahim Kunju’s son is UDF candidate in Kalamassery.

Ebrahim’s son Abdul Raheem has his father’s name wrong on one voter  Id while his wife Nazeema Bivi has her husband’s name wrong. Kozhikode KPCC Secretary VM Chandran’s daughter and  Congress woman leader in Kunnumal Panchayat, Siba, too has multiple votes. In the South Constituency, League leader Muhammad Rameez from Munoorkandi Sherif Manzil has three votes.

Pathanapuram Mandalam Vice President Muhammad Abin and Youth Congress Ward President Muneer also have multiple IDs. In Kasargod, BJP leader M Vijayalakshmi and a panchayat member in Omallur have two votes each. Congress worker in Kanhangad, PJ Shajahan has two votes while League ward secretary in Thrikkur, N Abdul Salam has three votes.

At 54th booth in Wadakanchery’s  Thekumkkara, 13 persons including Youth Congress leader, a former Panchayat member and his wife have multiple votes. Pullianmakkal Anoop Sebastin and wife of Thopilparambu Girish too have more than one vote there.
