Kannur : The DYFI’s Youth Brigade collected relief supplies for victims of flood-ravaged Wayanad. Film actress Nikhila Vimal joined the efforts actively. Coordinated by DYFI Thalliparambu Block Committee , members and volunteers sorted collected items at Kood Public Library Hall before taking off to reach the essential supplies to communities at relief camps of Wayanad.
Supplies comprised buckets, bowls, water, sanitary napkins, rope, drinking water, children’s clothing, bedsheets and food items. The distribution was done via District Administration.
Nikhila Vimal was present and helping throughout at the collection centre. Also in attendance were DYFI Block Secretary Shibin Kannai, President Muhas CP, Treasurer Prajeesh Babu and District Committee member Shona CK.
