ED Stumbles Upon Property Owned By Shaji’s Wife Matching Exact Bribery Amount

Kozhikode : The Enforcement Directorate(ED) came upon property worth Rs 25 Lakhs belonging to KM Shaji - an amount that matches the exact amount of Rs 25 lakh in bribe he is accused of having received for helping convert Azhikode School to Higher Secondary.

The said property is a house in Vengara. According to evidences on hand, the 25 lakh Shaji obtained in bribe was spent for construction of this house.

Shaji is under Vigilance investigation related to Azhikode school bribery and booked by ED for amassing disproportionate wealth.
