Edappal : The explosion in Edappal town was triggered by two men who arrived on bike. In the CCTV footages surrounding the site, two men can be seen pulling their bike close to Round Ebotin and lighting something like a firecracker, shortly after which there took place a loud explosion.
The smoke and noise of the blast send shopkeepers and residents in the area panicky. Police and Highway patrol quickly responded to the scene.
Investigations are underway.
