MALAPPURAM : A 85-year-old Malappuram native, Veeran Kutty from Nechithadathilin Keezhkattu, died post recovery from Covid while he remained for confirmatory results from the final test.
Veeran Kutty had cleared negative for coronavirus in the two tests after his course of treatment. However, he remained under observation until results of his third mandatory test arrived.
Incidentally, Veeran Kutty, had pre-existing health conditions though the end came on his return to near normal wellness. Veern kutty contracted the virus from his son who had arrived from Umran earlier.
The cause of death will be determined by medical examination, said Manjeri Medical College Hospital, where he underwent treatment.
