Malappuram : An elderly Adivasi was trampled to death in in Malappuram’s East Chathaloor, Edavannam.
The wild elephant had entered the colony late last night and continued to lurk in the area. Early in the morning, the victim stepped out of home to try chase the elephant away but the attempt proved fatal with the elephant turning on him instead and trampling him to death.
