Thrissur : An elephant goes berserk, injures mahout, amid temple festival(pooram) in Kunamkulam’s Kalazhi in Thrissur. The tusker going beserk was Pakkath Sreekuttan.. The second mahout sustained serious injuries and was admitted to Amala hospital while the prime mahout suffered minor wounds.
The elephant was tethered by 5 am this morning.
