Ensure Safety For Approx 7000 Malayalis Stranded In Israel; CM Writes To Union Ministry

Thiruvananthapuram : Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Tuesday wrote to the Union Minister for External Affairs, S Jaishankar, seeking assured safety for the roughly 7000 Malayalis stranded in Israel as war conditions there worsen.

The Hamas-Israel war has plunged ordinary people into deep distress. Back home,  the families of Malayalis residing in Israel and under immense anxiety. The Union Ministry should do all in its powers to reach out and ensure safety of these people,  the letter urged.
