Munnar : Task force in Munnar is evicting residents from encroached lands in Munnar. A 5-acre cardamom plantation in Chinnakanal was cleared out his morning. The eviction team placed a board at site indicating it as government property.
The team led by Tehisldar started evacuations early dawn Thursday. They have also sealed buildings housed in the marked are. The evictions underway are on basis of report the District Collector submitted to the court.
