New Delhi : Police have named minister’s son in their FIR on Lakhimpur carnage. Union Deputy Minister Ajaykumar Mishra’s son Ashish was in the car that ploughed into the farmers’ congregation, read Police FIR. The charge crumbles Ajaykumar Mishra’s earlier claim that his son was not present at the scene where the killings occurred.
The FIR states that Ashish drove his car to purposefully mow down farmers after which he fled into the sugarcane field in the area and hid himself. Ashish also shot into the crowd using his gun, says FIR.
Meanwhile the farmers’ unions decided to continue protests at the site up until Ajaykumar resigned from his post.
