Kasaragod : Savarkar-leaning among Congressmen leaks onto a Republic Day greeting posted by DCC President PK Faisal on the day. The controversial picture shared by Faisal on FB has Savarkar in the midst of BR Ambedkar, Bhagat Singh and Subhash Chandra Bose.
As the post, snowballed into controversy, Faisal lifted the picture off, following it with an apology that it was a mistake that occurred during designing the poster. Faisal further said he did not handle that particular account directly bur rather operated the FB page it through his office staff. All of that does little to explain how Savarkar also has been a punctual publicity face in nearly all of Congress’s events of late, including Bharat Jodo Yatra.
