Kannur : Tragedy struck at a household in Kannur’s Epoor, where a father and son died in accidental drowning at a pond in the neighbourhood. The incident took place 7 am this morning.
The deceased were identified as PP Shaji(50) who works as Secretary at Epoor Service Co-op Bank and his 16-year-old son Aditya Jyotir.
The two had come to Kariyila pond in Vattapoyil where Shaji sought to help his son with swimming lessons. Aditya had been training with another person regularly in the past few days.
