Aroor : In a tragic incident, a father dies attempting to stop his son from walking to his death along rail tracks. The speeding train, Janashathapadhi Express, eventually hit them both over. The incident took place at Chanthiroor Velluthulli Rail route this morning 9.30 am.
The deceased were identified as Purshothaman(57) and his son Sidhan(28).
