Palakkad : The blast victim at Kundanur firecracker Unit has died. The deceased is identified as Alathur native in Palakkad, Manikantan(50).
The explosion took place 5 pm Monday evening., the impact of which send tremors in 10-km radius around the spot. The blast caused a 20 meter deep hole at the site. Trees next to the unit too caught fire. Several windows and roofs of houses nearby cracked as well, inuring many.
