First Holy Communion in Kochi Violating Lockdown Curbs; Church Priest Arrested

Kochi: Police in Kochi arrested priest for holding first Holy Communion service in violation of prevailing lockdown. A case was registered against 25 persons including the priest Fr. George and the child’s parents in the incident that took place at St. Joseph Church in Chngumanad Puthusserry.

The first holy communion service was held at 8 m this morning. The accused have all been charge under the Epidemic Act.
