Palakkad : Flash tropical storm leaves trail of devastation in Palakkad’s Chalavara Paloottypadi. 14 houses were partially wrecked and several areas witnessed power outages.
A tree uprooted damaging several parked vehicles. The typhoon occurred Monday evening. A person seated by the roadside was thrown into the stream below, according to reports.
No casualties have been reported so far. A bike overturned caught up in the winds in one instance though.
