Bhubaneswar : A lover’s spat attracted more than its due in Odihsa’s Bhubaneswar, where a food delivery body who intervened to break a couple’s quarrel ended up slapping the girl in public.
The incident took Thursday evening. According to reports, the girl and her male friend had a screaming match after coming out of the IG park nearby. As the bickering escalated, the girl picked up a stone and hit her lover. A couple of passersby started to capture the fight on their cameras and the girl’s fury now diverted toward them. She tried to pull away mobiles of one or two and at this point, the food delivery body descended on the scene trying to calm the situation. He however quickly lost his cool and started to slap the girl non-stop following which, the crowd broke the fight before all went their separate ways.
Mobile footage on the incident quickly viralled on social media. Bhubaneswar police said since both parties indulged in physical attack, tehy will determine if there should be two cases charged.
