Kochi : Monday morning proved tragic for former Miss Kerala Ansi Kabir(25) and runner-up beauty Anjana Shajan(26), both getting killed when the car they were traveling upturned in a fatal crash. The accident took place in early morning hours of the day at Vytilla. The car lost control after hitting a bike and tossed over.
Two others, driver and a passenger, too sustained injuries, of whom, the condition of one is said to be critical.
Ansi was 2019 beauty pageant and hails from Attingal in Thiruvananthapuram. Anjana was runner-up in that contest and was a Trhissur native. Both women died on the spot. Police suspect that only driver had his safety belt on at the time of accident.
