New Delhi : Fraud case against KPCC President K Sudhakaran is quite serious, said CPI(M) State Secretary MV Govindan. Sudhakaran involved himself not in a political case but rather in a serious fraud case.
Proceedings against Sudhakaran aren’t from political motive. The investigating team claim they have clear evidences, said MV Govindan speaking with media in Delhi.
Whether K Sudhakaran should continue as KPCC president or otherwise is not our lookout. That is for the Congress to decide. said MV Govindan. There is no link between the joint movement of the opposition Parties and arrest of Sudhakaran. The arrest will have no bearing on the united opposition movement, said Govindan.
BJP is the main foe while Congress is BJP’s Team B in Kerala, added MV Govindan.
Context : Seven hours into the interrogation in fake antique scam, KPCC president K Sudhakaran was arrested by Crime Branch on Friday. He is currently out on a fifty thousand rupees bond.
