New Delhi : The CPI(M) State conference in Jammu Kashmir demanded that the Central govt restore democratic rights of state it took away. The conclave held in Srinagar was inaugurated by CPI(M) General Secretary Sitaram Yechury.
At the conference, Ghulam Ali Mallik was once again elected as the State Secretary. Removal of state status held by Jammu Kashmir and repealing of Article 370 was unconstitutional, said Yechury.
The party has approached Supreme Court in this regard. BJP’s claim of having generated unemployment is a hoax, said Central Committee member Mohamed Yusuf Tarigami in his address.
