Bangalore: Swapna Suresh and Sandeep Nair, the two key suspects in the diplomatic gold smuggling case, have been into custody from their hideout in Bangalore.
The operation was carried out by NIA's Hyderabad Unit with no prior information to Bangalore police. According to sources, Swapna and Sandeep are being questioned at NIA's Bangalore unit presently. The duo will be transported this night itself so they are fetched to NIA's Kochi office on Sunday.
