Thrissur : A burglar made off with gold worth Rs 1.25 crores from the house of an expat gold jeweler. The robbery took place last night at residence of Karathiyur Balan from Thampuranpadi.
The robbery happened while Balan was away with his family watching movie in a theatre. Upon returning, the backdoor was found ajar. Balan had safekept the gold at home for selling it later. Police are examining the CCTV images that has a sketchy image of the culprit in action.
