Goodness More Glittery Than Gold : Min R. Bindu Offers Gold Bangle In Help For Kidney Transplant

Irinjalakuda ; Minister R. Bindu who arrived at a fundraising meeting to help a youth avail kidney transplant, removed and handed a gold bangle she wore as first donation. The Minister’s model gesture was in aid of Karuvanoor Murkanad native, resident of Vaneriparambil, Vivek Prabakhar(27).

The charity effort was organised at Murkanad village library. The minister was invited to the meeting as people’s representative from the area. The minister’s donation in form of personal jewelry came as a total surprise. The donation was received by officer bearers PK Kanrunakaran, Naseema Kunjumon and Saji Erattuparambil. Before leaving, the Minister met with Vivek’s brother, Vishnu, and conveyed wishes for a speedy recovery .
