Kochi :At press conference in Kochi, the Governor Arif Mohammed Khan said he will not speak with Kairali or Media One and further asked reporters from the two brands to leave the room if present. Incidentally, reporters from all media houses had come on receiving email nod from Raj Bhavan
In the conference room, the Governor called out to Kairali and Media One and lashed criticisms. All reporters from these two media firms must leave, said the Governor, else he would leave, threatened Arif Mohammed Khan.
The Governor said he did not wish to speak with cadre media and accused the two media firms of engaging in opposition campaign against him. The Governor’s rant began as reporters sought further response on the university issue after he had said he would act on the matter after examining VC replies.
Those appointed by me shall not criticise me just as I cannot criticise the Prime Minister, said Arif Mohamed Khan. Some are trying to take control of Raj Bhavan, the Governor added, and further challenged impending protests saying ‘let those marching to Raj Bhavan dare to enter its premises.”
