Thiruvananthapuram : The Governor is upset failing to get what he expects, and is spreading false propaganda to the media in response, said CPI(M) State Secretary MV Govindan

There is wide suspicion in public mind  if the Governor is at all  functioning in line with constitution. Mindless to facts of  history, the Governor is assuming a rather cheap stand so to say. How credible does it sound to the public when Governor claims that aged and renowned historian Irfan Habib conspired to assassinate him during Charithra Congress event. Even so, if there be anything to offer as evidence to the effect, the government is willing to have it investigated. The Governor created unnecessary controversy surrounding Kannur University Vice Chancellor Ravindran Gopinath.

The philosophies of Marx and Marxism can be put to use anywhere and everywhere in this world. And, world over, there exist  party workers who endeavour for it.  Marx in his works has did referrto India’s first freedom struggle and the rampant caste system of the time. The Governor surely is aware of it all. His words are rather designed to confuse people hearing it the first time.

The Governor is indulging in false propaganda. The Governor should show demeanor appropriate to his position as Governor. The propaganda against University too is similarly distorted. It amounts to unbecoming of the post Governor holds, said MV Govindan.. The government has always shown constitutional respect  towards  Governor, he added.
