Thiruvananthapuram : Kerala and Tamil Nadu prepare to jointly fight Governors’ highhandedness. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin had written to Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan seeking support for stand against the Governor. In reply, Pinarayi Vijayan assured full backing for all matters on this count.
Stalin primarily accused the Governor over refusal to sign Bills and demanded passing of Resolutions against the Governors. Stalin’s suggestions are of serious nature and under consideration of the government, said Pinarayi in his letter. Kerala has communicated its view to Tamil Nadu of how the Governors are currently infringing the federal system. There exists circumstance currently of Governors refusing to sign Bills, both the heads of State agreed.
