THIRUVANANTHAPURAM : If skills of youth are worked effectively, it can create wonders in the entrepreneurial sector, said Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. Rather than seeking employment, the youth could transform into employers themselves, he said. CM was speaking at an event - “Enlite 2020”- organized for promoting private entrepreneurship.
The government strives to encourage a healthy entrepreneurial culture in the State, said Pinarayi. There now exists in Kerala, all settings required for enterprises to flourish. To remove hurdles in the initial stage of setting up an enterprise, 7 laws and 10 rules were amended for “Ease of doing business”.
The government is working to elevate Kerala to one among top five business-friendly States in the country. Our State today has one of the best startup environments. Several startups that attracted global attention originated here, CM said.
Minister of Industries EP Jayarajan, who presided over the function said, the govt is tasked to boost youth enterprises and make Kerala an unemployment-free State. Other speakers at the event were MLA VK Prashant, Mayor K Sreekumar, Councilor K Murlalidharan, Principal Secretary Dr K Elankovan and Director K Biju.
