Kochi : The government will not go back on developmental works, said Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan. It is not right to give up a project just because a few put up resistance. The government is obliged to march the state forward rather than buckle under pressure. The government will stand steadfast by its people, said CM, speaking at Janasameksham SiverLine meeting in Kochi.
Kerala has been able to improvise its healthcare and public education system, and accomplish great leaps in these sectors. Initially there was opposition from several quarters relating to highway expansion project. However, government made it clear there was no turning away and later, ieverybody cooperated taking into account the larger benefit it held for the state, said CM.
