BJP has expanded victory lead in Gujarat Assembly elections, winning 148 seats while Congress shrunk to 24. This is a straight 7th time that people of Gujarat are voting BJP into power.
In Himachal, where vote counting is in progress Congress appears to have a silver line, a slim one though. The race is neck-and-neck for ruling-BJP and Congress with Congress leading in 34 constituencies and BJP in 32 as of now. The hilly state has a total of 68 seats and halfway mark is 35.
