Naduvanoor : Gunny bagsful of subsided ration rice were found dumped in a stream in Peravacheri area of Kuravanoor. People in the neighbourhood were struck by a foul odour, the trail of which led to decaying rice in several bags lying at bottom of the stream.
As the news broke, Ris from Supplyco office, KK Biju, VV shinjith, PK Abdul Nasar and K Sajith Kumar reached the spot and collected evidences. All ration shops shall be inspected for inventories, the officers said. The case must be thoroughly investigated and action taken, demanded CPI(M) Kuravanoor Town branch.
